The lectures on carbohydrate metabolism are organized as four sections:

Part 1 – Digestion, absorption, uptake of glucose into tissues

Part 2 – Glucose utilization, energy generation and glucose production, regulation of blood glucose levels

Part 3 – Diabetes mellitus and hypoglycemia

Part 4 – Other pathways and their importance
